I am a Portrait, Lifestyle and Documentary photographer with a passion for photographing people from all walks of life. My intention is to capture the person’s true essence in a natural authentic way. As I emerge into this field, I am realizing this is not something that every photographer can or wants to do. This blog is intended for those wanting to get more from their subjects and who want to learn more about the process of putting their subjects at ease.
Other things about me – I am passionate about art and music in general and have a past life in the music industry as an R&B Singer/Songwriter. I sing in my church choir now (Agape) and focus most of my creative energy on my photography. I also enjoy painting and intend to paint more in the coming years!
One of my dreams is to own a home with its own studio with lots of light. It is a smaller building on the property with space to create. In that studio, I will be shooting and creating with all types of media.
